So far so good. I am really enjoying my new bike. I am getting lots of great comments about the bike from other people. Everything is working fine and I am putting lots of km on.

My first e-bike. What a blast! Well made, solid, sturdy and easy to ride. Cover double the distance than on a standard bike with ease while choosing the level of exercise you want. The faster you want to go the higher the gear setting and power assist you need. There is a bit of a learning curve, but after three 30km rides on the local dykes I think I understand how to get the most out of it. Blasting around at 32km/hr is fun, but gobbles up the battery within 30km. With power assist level 2 you can travel at 22km/hr with ease or at 24km/hr by adding some of your own effort if you want a workout, and yet consuming only one or two bars of assist energy. 80km should then be possible on one battery charge on level gravel paths. 100km may be possible on level tarred roads. You do have to get used to the weight of the bike and overcoming the rolling resistance of the fat tires is made clear when you switch off all power assist. To compensate for the weight and rolling resistance a power assist setting of at least 1 is required. Lifting the bike onto a car bike rack also requires some practice – one wheel at a time is easiest.
